A classically styled mid-century piece which ticks all the right style boxes, this piece could be used in any room in the house as a console table, knee hole desk or dressing table. It is finished in beautifully figured veneers, well made and in good re-furbished condition. The centre section pulls out for additional use/storage. Size 122cm w x 50cm d x 75cm h.
The sought after sideboard from 1951/2 and designed by David Booth for Gordon Russell for the Festival of Britain. Has a lovely glowing patina to the wood, walnut and mahogany, and an incised double helix design to the doors. Internally has a deep cupboard with half height shelf and a pull out baize lined cutlery drawer. Condition is very good. Size 121cm wide x 46cm deep x 84cm high.
A lovely and very practical low desk or dresser with good storage and work surface area which has a slight carve to create a subtle 'wrap-around' effect. It is slightly lower than a standard desk height and might suit someone of smaller stature. In good re-furbished condition. Size is 166cm wide at front (174cm at back) x 52cm deep x 66cm high.
A really tidy piece from the Morris of Glasgow Cumbrae range, this chest is in very good condition and well made in zebra wood with contrasting sycamore handles and frame and sits on the typical angled tapering legs of the period. Size 80cm wide x 47cm deep x 86cm high.
