Gordon Russell 'Helix' sideboard

The sought after sideboard from 1951/2 and designed by David Booth for Gordon Russell for the Festival of Britain. Has a lovely glowing patina to the wood, walnut and mahogany, and an incised double helix design to the doors. Internally has a deep cupboard with half height shelf and a pull out baize lined cutlery drawer. Condition is very good. Size 121cm wide x 46cm deep x 84cm high.

1950's oak kneehole desk/dresser

A lovely and very practical low desk or dresser with good storage and work surface area which has a slight carve to create a subtle 'wrap-around' effect. A really tidy piece from the Morris of Glasgow Cumbrae range, this chest is in very good condition and well made in zebra wood with contrasting sycamore handles and frame and sits on the typical angled tapering legs of the period. Size 80cm wide x 47cm deep x 86cm high.
