Our new selection of fifties fabric design lampshades, hand made by ourselves from Sandersons vintage archive reprints onto cotton. Size is up to 16" diameter max x 12" deep (8" or 10" if preferred). Designs include Mobiles originally by Marion Mahler, Hayward, and Perpetua designed by Lucienne Day...and these were originally printed onto Rayon fabric.
A wonderfully bold and fresh fabric design from the late 1960's.
Merry wives was one of a whole series of Shakespeare themed designs produced in the late 60's as part of a brief from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre at Stratford upon Avon.
They were produced by Tibor Fabrics based in Stratford and this design was numbered 195.
This is a curtain length in good condition and measures 45" x 68.5" long.
A great example of bold and confident mid 60's Scandinavian textile design from Saini Salonen for Boras Fabrics, Sweden.
A pair of extra wide and very long curtains, 56" wide x 90" long, they are joined/seamed at 18" wide to get the extra width.
Condition is overall very good and rich in colour.
